Qwiller Annual Secondary English Subscriptions Years 7–10

The Qwiller Annual Subscriptions for Years 7–10 will give teachers access to digital copies of 24 units of work and their corresponding workbooks, which can be shared with relevant teachers and students in each year group for one year.

What’s new?

• The Qwiller Annual Subscriptions for Years 7–10 will give teachers access to digital copies of 24 units of work and their corresponding workbooks, which can be shared with relevant teachers and students in each year group for one year. Each unit and it’s corresponding digital workbook has integrated lessons on sentence-level grammar and punctuation as well as spelling and vocabulary development.
• Clearer activity and task structure to differentiate the syllabus/curriculum.
• Each lesson is linked to Bloom’s Taxonomy for Teaching, Learning and Assessment (2001)
• ‘Food for thought’: these are information boxes with details such as definitions, contextual information and concept explanations, where relevant.
• Modified Tasks: these are suggested tasks and activities that cater for diverse learners, students whom English is an additional language or dialect (EAL/D) and the Life Skills content of the NSW English syllabus.
• Literacy blitz: lessons and activities  on vocabulary building, spelling and sentence-level grammar and punctuation
• Think about it: these are integrated into the teaching points to encourage students to think more closely about the ideas and concepts being introduced and developed
• Activities: these are divided into levels 1, 2 & 3, where questions and/or tasks become more challenging
• Hungry for more?: these extend students even further and are based on independent learning tasks.

Note: PDFs of units of work and ebooks have been phased out. Instead Qwiller is digitising all Years 7–10 units of work and PDF workbooks. This means you will be able to access these resources on the Qwiller website when you log into your Qwiller account. The units and workbooks can still be downloaded but not as a whole complete file. Each lesson can be downloaded as a PDF, stored and shared with teachers and students in the cohort.

Level 1: schools with no of students between 0–50

Cost: $500

Level 2: schools with no of students between 50–500

Cost: $650

Level 3: schools with no of students between 500+

Cost: $800

Level 4: individual teacher or tutor

Cost: $350

Please choose either the NSW English 7–10 Syllabus, 2022 (NSW Syllabus), or the Australian English Curriculum 7–10, 2022 (Aus Curriculum) for WA, QLD, ACT, NT & SA.

Annual subscription validity

The annual subscriptions run from Jan 1 to Dec 31 each year. These are in line with the school year.

During the pre-order stage (2023 — prior to 2024 when the NSW English 7–10 Syllabus and Australian English Curriculum, V.9., are mandated for implementation) any subscription purchased will be valid till Dec 31, 2024. Units of work and their corresponding workbooks will be published throughout 2023 during the planning stage. All current units of work and work ebooks are included during the pre-order stage.
